Our organization was established in 1981 as a commercial software products firm based in Southern California by Duke Lotherington, who had a vision of creating an entirely new category of software in a "vertical" market. His ongoing interests in application and database propelled him onto the path of creating his own conceptual framework and innovative software products. His concept soon became one of Visual Records' specialty. From the time of its conception to now, Visual Records has always adopted the "best-of-breed" policy. What is "best-of-breed?" Our software has been developed for maximum effectiveness at affordable prices in comparison to what large enterprises may offer. In doing so, smaller organizations are able to compete by adopting technology and systems similar to those of a large corporate environment while also allowing for a certain amount of customization and cost-management. Visual Records wanted to expand its visionary goal; therefore, in 2003, it combined forces with Envisions Software, a full-service software company that assists creative people ("EnVisionaries") with commercializing their great ideas into a new software product.
