Danos Disaster Response & Recovery Purchases Storm Tracker (29-Jun-2007)

Danos Disaster Response & Recovery in Larose, LA (a division of Danos & Curole Marine Contractors, LLC) has selected Storm Tracker, Version 5.0, to manage, track and assist with their debris and storm clean up tickets. The company was started in 1947 by Allen Danos and Syriaque Curole, who combined a love of boats and an entrepreneurial spirit to launch a small tugboat business to furnish transportation to the oil and gas industry. Since then, the company has expanded to offer the following services and products: Labor Services, Fabrication and Construction Services, Disaster Response and Recovery Services and International Services. Their Disaster Response Division provides specialized disaster response and recovery labor services to environmental contractors, industrial clients, and disaster recovery contractors.

Visual Records' first communication with Danos was when they responded to an email that Visual Records had sent out to several exhibitors from the National Hurricane Conference, regarding the Storm Tracker program. A few weeks later, Visual Records' Sales Representative visited Danos' office. Shortly after this visit, Danos decided to select Storm Tracker for their new debris management software out of the five software choices they were pondering. Paul Danos, Manager of Danos' Debris Removal Division, stated, "The folks at Visual Records were extremely responsive to help us move quickly in choosing and deploying Storm Tracker for our business. I was impressed that the company president had spent significant time in the field learning the ins and outs of debris removal. This gave me confidence that Storm Tracker would address the practical operational needs of our business."
