Patient Portal to the Rescue (14-September-2009) We are designing and developing an online patient portal for WellMax, a Center for Preventive Medicine, where patients can access their medical information through WellMax's secure website. WellMax is a scientifically-based wellness center with comprehensive and state-of-the-art technology, offering the diagnostic capabilities and expertise of a large hospital. They pride themselves on providing a more comprehensive disease screening than other clinics. The information that is viewed on the patient portal is managed by authorized users through our Administration Console, where users can easily add a patient manually through the Patients management window or several patients automatically through the Start Up menu. The Console allows users to assign unique and secure usernames and passwords for each patient as well as refresh each patient's folder so that the latest documents are added and then can be uploaded to the patient portal website. |
